80% Sangiovese; 20% Merlot
From Monti in the Chianti region of Italy; a traditional
Tuscan red, the Rosso Toscana is fermented in stainless
steel tanks and left to mature for ten months. A small
portion of it is matured in oak and the other in cement
tanks. It has light scent of spice and cherry compote on the
nose. On the palate, the wine has ripe red fruit flavors with
a nice acidity and dry finish. The Rosso Toscana is best
paired with pasta, red meats, and hard cheese. *Packaging may vary.
